Can a bike ride boost your Brain's learning power? scientists test exercise and brain zaps
NCT ID NCT07438808
Summary
This study aims to understand how a single session of moderate cycling exercise affects the brain's ability to adapt and learn new motor skills in older adults, especially when combined with a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique. Researchers will compare 66 healthy older adults (65-80) and younger adults (20-35) to see if exercise can enhance the brain stimulation's effect. The goal is to gather knowledge that could later inform strategies to help maintain movement and independence as people age.
