First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at how different weights (light vs. heavy) used in resistance exercise affect blood pressure in women aged 50-70 who have high blood pressure. Researchers will compare the immediate and 24-hour blood pressure effects of two exercise routines and a non-exercise control. The goal is to understand which type of weight training might best help manage blood pressure in this group.
