Can two weeks of walking and breathing exercises before surgery ease pain and speed recovery for lung cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07401056

Summary

This study aims to see if a structured exercise program before surgery helps people with non-small cell lung cancer. Researchers will compare 62 patients who do two weeks of daily walking and breathing exercises before their operation to those who receive standard care. They will measure if the exercise group has less pain, recovers faster, leaves the hospital sooner, and reports a better quality of life after surgery.
