Summary

This study looked at whether a personalized exercise program, started before breast cancer surgery and continued for 12 months after, could reduce the chance of developing lymphedema (arm swelling). Forty women scheduled for breast surgery took part. The goal was to see if early, guided movement could improve arm function, reduce pain, and boost quality of life during recovery.
