First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether exercise, like walking and telehealth coaching, along with smoking cessation advice, can improve the walking ability and lung health of smokers who have early signs of lung trouble. Researchers will follow 90 adult smokers or ex-smokers for 12 months to see if these activities help prevent the development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
