Can a simple exercise plan speed up recovery after pelvic surgery?

NCT ID NCT07218016

Summary

This study aims to find out if a specific, guided exercise plan helps women recover faster after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. About 288 participants will be randomly assigned to follow either standard recovery advice or a new exercise-focused plan. They will wear an activity tracker on their wrist and report their recovery progress daily through a smartphone app to see which approach leads to feeling 'mostly recovered' sooner.
