Scientists measure hidden health toll after heart valve surgery
NCT ID NCT07394998
Summary
This study aims to understand how surgery for a narrowed heart valve affects long-term health. Researchers will compare 40 people who had the surgery with healthy individuals, measuring their exercise ability, muscle oxygen levels, and artery stiffness. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
