Brain training for kids: does paper or computer work better?

NCT ID NCT06935656

Summary

This study tested three different ways to train children's executive functions—the mental skills that help with focus, self-control, and flexible thinking. Researchers worked with 192 low-income school children in Chile, aged 5-6 and 9-10, comparing paper-based, computer-based, and mixed training methods. The goal was to see which approach best improves these core thinking skills and whether those improvements also help with reading and math.
