First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested a new treatment approach for adults over 55 with a specific type of leukemia (B-precursor ALL). Instead of full-dose chemotherapy, patients received a reduced chemo cycle followed by the targeted drug blinatumomab. The goal was to see if this combination could achieve remission with fewer side effects. The trial enrolled 52 participants and measured how many achieved complete remission and molecular response after the first treatment phase.
