First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares a newer, less invasive procedure called endoscopic ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (EUS-RFA) with standard surgery for treating pancreatic insulinoma, a small tumor that causes low blood sugar. About 60 adults with a single tumor 2 cm or smaller will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see if EUS-RFA is safer and works as well as surgery.
