Needle heat therapy offers hope for tumor patients, aims to avoid major surgery
NCT ID NCT07272187
Summary
This study is observing patients who receive a minimally invasive procedure called EUS-RFA to treat small tumors in the pancreas or adrenal glands. Doctors use a special scope to guide a needle into the tumor and apply heat to destroy it, aiming to control the disease. The research will follow about 138 patients for up to 5 years to see how well the treatment works long-term, how safe it is, and how it affects patients' quality of life compared to traditional surgery.
