New heat treatment may extend life for pancreatic cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether a special heat probe, guided by an ultrasound camera, can help people with inoperable pancreatic cancer live longer. About 108 adults who cannot have surgery will either get standard care or also receive this heat treatment. The goal is to see if the heat probe improves survival and quality of life.
