New targeted cancer drug enters human trials for advanced tumors
NCT ID NCT06993844
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new experimental drug called ETX-636 in people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change (PIK3CA mutation). The trial will first check if the drug is safe and find the right dose, both when given alone and when combined with another breast cancer therapy. It will also look for early signs that the drug can help control cancer growth, particularly in advanced breast cancer.
