Stitching on cloth could sharpen future Midwives' skills and calm nerves

NCT ID NCT06930001

Summary

This study tested whether practicing surgical stitching on a special cloth called 'etamine' helps midwifery students learn better. Researchers wanted to see if this hands-on practice improved the students' stitching skills for a common childbirth procedure, lowered their stress, and made them more positive about learning. They compared a group of students who used the cloth to a group who did not.
