First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is testing special glasses called Essilor Stellest to see if they can slow down nearsightedness (myopia) in children and teenagers aged 6 to 16. About 150 participants will wear the glasses for at least 12 hours a day for 2 years. The main goal is to measure changes in eye length and prescription compared to what would normally happen without treatment.
