Do video games train your brain? scientists test Gamers' skills
NCT ID NCT07211191
Summary
This research study aimed to understand if competitive video gaming (esports) changes how the brain works or how well people coordinate their eyes and head movements. Researchers compared 36 young adults, half of whom were serious gamers and half who were not, using memory tests, attention challenges, and eye-tracking during head movements. The study did not test treatments but instead observed differences between the two groups to learn about the effects of intensive gaming.
