NCT ID NCT07494851
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether a type of nerve block (called an erector spinae plane block) could help manage pain from broken ribs in adults who had a chest injury. The goal was to see if it's possible to run a larger study, not to prove the treatment works. Twenty-seven patients took part, and researchers looked at how many people joined and stayed in the study, as well as what helped or hindered participation.
