NCT ID NCT07574736
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple external body landmark can help doctors place an esophageal temperature probe at the right depth in ICU patients. Accurate placement is important for reliable temperature readings. The study will use a special ultrasound technique (TEE) to confirm correct positioning. About 30 adult ICU patients who already need a TEE will take part.
