First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to inflate the lungs during laparoscopic surgery with the patient head-down. One method uses a standard fixed pressure, while the other adjusts the pressure based on measurements from a thin tube placed in the esophagus. The goal is to see which approach better improves lung function and reduces complications in 90 adults undergoing planned surgery.
