Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether a personalized treatment plan based on a biomarker (CPS score) can improve outcomes for people with a certain type of esophageal cancer. Participants will receive a combination of the immunotherapy drug serplulimab, chemotherapy, and possibly radiation before surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer left in their removed tissue. The study is currently recruiting 90 adults aged 18-75 with resectable, locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
