Summary
This study provided an alternative medication called Erwinase to patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who had allergic reactions to standard treatments. It was designed for people who developed rashes or severe reactions to other forms of the drug L-asparaginase. The goal was to offer a different option to help control their cancer when standard treatments couldn't be used safely.
