Ebola shield: can a Vaccine-Antibody duo stop the virus?

NCT ID NCT05202288

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving the Ervebo vaccine together with Inmazeb antibodies can safely prevent Ebola in healthy adults. The vaccine works slowly, while antibodies act fast, so researchers want to see if they interfere with each other. About 132 volunteers will receive different combinations to find the best timing for both.
