New hope for kids with resistant cancers: drug combo trial launches

Summary
This early-phase trial tests a three-drug combination (eribulin, irinotecan, and temozolomide) in children and young adults up to age 25 whose solid tumors have returned or not responded to standard treatment. The main goal is to find a safe dose and watch for side effects. About 48 participants will take part at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
