Summary

This study tested a drug called eribulin combined with standard chemotherapy given before surgery for a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer called HER2-negative inflammatory breast cancer. The goal was to see if this approach could eliminate all signs of cancer in the breast and lymph nodes at the time of surgery. The study enrolled 22 adults with this specific cancer type.
