Simple head turn may stop vertigo in its tracks
NCT ID NCT07111000
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a simple head-and-body movement called the Epley maneuver can quickly relieve dizziness from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) in the emergency department. About 118 adults with BPPV will either get the real maneuver or a fake one. Researchers will compare dizziness scores three days later to see if the Epley maneuver works better.
