First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two types of catheter ablation for people who have dangerous heart rhythms (ventricular tachycardia) after a heart attack and have an implanted defibrillator. One method treats only the inside of the heart, while the other treats both the inside and outside. The goal is to see which approach better prevents death, electrical storms, or shocks from the defibrillator over two years.
