NCT ID NCT07592364

First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares two methods of delivering epidural pain medicine during labor: automatic small doses at set times (PIEB) versus a steady drip (CEI), both with the option for extra doses as needed. About 88 pregnant women past 36 weeks will take part to see which method gives better pain control, uses less medicine, and makes mothers more satisfied. The goal is to improve labor pain relief for future patients.
