Which drug works better to stabilize Mom's blood pressure during C-Section?

NCT ID NCT07384455

Summary

This study compared two drugs, ephedrine and norepinephrine, to see which is more effective at preventing and treating low blood pressure in mothers having a planned cesarean section with spinal anesthesia. Researchers monitored 70 healthy pregnant women to see how often low blood pressure occurred and how each drug affected the mother's heart rate and the baby's health. The goal was to find the safest and most effective way to manage this common side effect of spinal anesthesia during delivery.
