New Clot-Busting device could improve heart attack outcomes

Summary
This study tests a special device called enVast that removes blood clots from heart arteries during a heart attack. About 148 people with a severe type of heart attack (STEMI) will either get standard treatment or standard treatment plus the device. The goal is to see if using the device leads to smaller heart damage and is safe.
