Experimental pill tested for Tough-to-Treat gut tumors

NCT ID NCT03211988

Summary

This study tested an oral medication called entinostat for people with advanced abdominal neuroendocrine tumors that had returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to see if the weekly pill could shrink tumors or slow their growth. The trial was small and ended early, so its results are limited.
