Summary
This study tested a new way to prevent non-communicable diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes in rural Ethiopia. Researchers brought together parent-teacher groups, agricultural workers, and health workers to spread health information and encourage screenings. Over 400 adults took part, and the team measured whether more people got checked for these diseases. The goal was to see if this community teamwork could make prevention efforts more effective.
