First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a few simple physical checks to the STOP-BANG questionnaire can better predict if an obese patient will have trouble with a breathing tube during surgery. About 233 adults with a BMI of 30 or higher will be tested before their operation. The goal is to improve safety and help doctors prepare for difficult airways.
