Summary
This study tested whether adding personalized skills coaching sessions to a proven therapy could better help teens struggling with suicidal thoughts and behaviors. It involved 47 adolescents in outpatient treatment programs over one year. Researchers measured changes in their reasons for living, depression, and suicidal thoughts to see if the enhanced approach was more effective.
