NCT ID NCT07493876

First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a special recovery plan helps patients with cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining get out of the hospital sooner after major surgery. About 300 patients at 20 Italian hospitals will follow either the usual recovery process or a new, structured Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol. The main goal is to see if the new plan reduces the average time patients need to stay in the hospital after their operation.
