New recovery plan aims to get cancer patients home sooner after surgery
NCT ID NCT07493876
Summary
This study is testing whether a coordinated recovery plan helps patients with cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining recover faster after major surgery. About 300 patients across Italy will participate. Doctors will first document current recovery practices, then implement a new plan focused on nutrition, pain management, and early movement to see if it shortens hospital stays and improves recovery.
