Summary

This study tested a new medicine called Engensis (VM202) to see if it safely reduces pain in people with diabetic nerve damage. 104 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes and leg pain for at least 6 months took part. Researchers compared the change in average daily pain over 6 months between those who got the drug and those who got a placebo.
