New injection could free patients from daily calcium pills

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily injection called eneboparatide can help people with chronic hypoparathyroidism. For the first 24 weeks, 165 participants will receive either the real injection or a placebo (dummy injection), with neither patients nor doctors knowing which. The main goal is to see if the treatment allows patients to stop taking high doses of vitamin D and calcium supplements while keeping their blood calcium at normal levels.
