First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug called eneboparatide for people with chronic hypoparathyroidism, a condition where the body doesn't make enough parathyroid hormone. The goal is to see if the drug can help patients stop or reduce their daily calcium and vitamin D supplements while keeping blood calcium levels normal. About 165 adults aged 18-80 will take either the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks, then everyone can receive the drug for up to 132 more weeks.
