NCT ID NCT07285252
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a special patch with haptic (touch-based) technology can help runners perform better during intense exercise. About 75 recreational to competitive runners will wear either the active patch or a placebo patch for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in VO2max and lactate threshold to see if the patch makes a difference.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Victory Patch with Haptic Vibrotactile Trigger Technology
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a simple, non-invasive way to boost athletic performance during exercise.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 75 participants, so results may not apply widely. The patch might not work better than a placebo.
