First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive way to treat complex aortic aneurysms (bulging of the main blood vessel) in the chest and abdomen. It uses special stents (small mesh tubes) placed through blood vessels, avoiding major open surgery. The study includes 520 people who are at high risk for traditional surgery. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and works well to repair the aneurysm and prevent complications.
