New scoping procedure challenges surgery for early colon cancer
NCT ID NCT06940947
Summary
This study is comparing a newer, less invasive procedure (endoscopic full-thickness resection) to standard surgery for treating early-stage colon cancer. It aims to see which method is safer in the short term and better at preventing cancer from coming back in the long term. The trial will involve 434 people with newly diagnosed, small, early-stage colon tumors.
