Can wearable sensors solve the mystery of heavy periods?

NCT ID NCT07557992

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

Heavy menstrual bleeding affects 1 in 3 women, yet there's no simple test to diagnose it. This study will use wearable sensors and MRI scans to measure uterine activity in 100 women with and without heavy periods. The goal is to identify biological differences that could lead to a future diagnostic tool.
