First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some women experience heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB), which affects 1 in 3 women. Researchers will use wearable sensors and MRI scans to measure uterine activity and compare findings between women with and without HMB. The goal is to lay the groundwork for a simple, accurate diagnostic test. About 100 participants aged 18-45 who are currently menstruating will be enrolled.
