Targeted combo therapy tested for Tough-to-Treat uterine cancer
NCT ID NCT05154487
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, alpelisib and fulvestrant, can help control advanced endometrial cancer that has a specific genetic mutation (PIK3CA) and responds to estrogen. It is for people whose cancer has returned or spread and is not likely curable by surgery or radiation. The main goal is to see how many patients' tumors shrink from the treatment.
