New drug duo challenges chemo for Tough-to-Treat uterine cancer

NCT ID NCT04865289

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two newer drugs (pembrolizumab and lenvatinib) works better than standard chemotherapy for women with advanced or recurrent endometrial (uterine) cancer. It involved 130 participants and directly compared how long patients lived without their cancer getting worse and how long they lived overall. The goal was to find a more effective way to control this serious disease.
