Summary
This study looks at whether root canal treatment can reduce certain blood markers linked to heart disease in people with stable coronary artery disease and a tooth infection. About 80 adults will be split into two groups: one gets immediate root canal treatment, the other waits three months. Researchers will compare levels of two inflammatory markers (hs-CRP and IL-6) to see if treating the tooth infection lowers heart risk.
