New drug trial offers hope for controlling rare calcium disease

NCT ID NCT05680818

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called encaleret for people with a rare inherited condition called ADH1, which causes low blood calcium and high urine calcium. It compares encaleret to the current standard treatments to see if it's better at safely keeping calcium levels in a healthy range. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage this lifelong condition.
