Summary

This study tests if adding healthy lifestyle counseling to regular pregnancy checkups can prevent non-communicable diseases (like heart disease and diabetes) in mothers and their children. About 1,268 pregnant women in four Ethiopian cities will receive either standard care or extra counseling on diet, exercise, and reducing air pollution. The goal is to improve birth weight and long-term health.
