Robot takes on hernias: new study tests Medtronic's hugo system

Summary

This study looks at how well a new robotic system, the Medtronic Hugo™, works for fixing inguinal and ventral hernias. About 206 adults will have robotic hernia repair and be followed for two years. The main goals are to see if the surgery is successful without switching to another method and to check for any complications within 30 days.
