Summary
This study tested a program called EMT en Español that helps Spanish-speaking toddlers (ages 30-36 months) with language delays improve their communication and school readiness. Therapists and caregivers worked together to teach language skills. The study compared these children to others who received usual community services. Results showed that the program helped children use more words and phrases in both Spanish and English.
