NCT ID NCT07375823

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to standard exercise therapy helps young adults with cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in the neck). 50 participants aged 18-29 did 12 sessions over 6 weeks. One group did exercises alone; the other added EMS to the back of the shoulders. The goal was to see if EMS improves neck muscle endurance, strength, and pain. Results may show a better way to manage neck pain without drugs.
